Luang Prabang 2017 - Morning Market
The streets around the Royal Palace become the morning market in Luang Prabang. If you are interested in where the locals get their fresh ingredients - this is the place to go. The market is surprisingly large - occupying an entire street running perpendicular to the Royal Palace and even some of the side streets. There is a lot going on - with fruits, veggies, poultry, fish, etc. on offer. We even saw some pretty unusual items on offer - vermins!
The display of local produce reminds me of Satok Sunday Market in Kuching during its heydays.
Besides fresh ingredients, there are also many stalls selling cooked food and snacks.
