Shenzhen & Dongguang 2010 - Shenzhen City
Shenzhen is the earliest city in China to be opened up for commerce with the rest of the World. Due to its proximity to Hong Kong, many businesses have migrated there and this is still one of the greatest success stories in China.
The infrastructure here is so good that many other first World cities pale in comparison. The roads are huge and seem to go on forever. Highrises are everywhere. You really don’t feel like you are in China. The city is also surprisingly green, and sidewalks are littered with parks, sculptures and artworks.
