Kuala Lumpur 2018 - Leaf & Co Cafe

At the corner of Jalan Sultan and Jalan Hang Jebat you will find Leaf & Co. Cafe - one of the more interesting cafes this part of the city. The existing old shophouse has been kept intact and mostly untouched - allowing the old patina to shine through. Retro-syle furniture and furnishings nicely complement the old structure.

The most rigorous insertion is a feature wall made out of concrete vent blocks that run from the floor to the top of the lightwell. This adds visual interest to the centre of the space.

I only stopped by for a cup of coffee - but they do offer an extensive East and West Menu.

On top of the cafe is a popular hostel - Mingle which pride themselves in providing an authentic local experience.
