The Commons is one of the latest and also hippest lifestyle malls in Bangkok. This 5-storey complex with a central atrium space is purpose-designed as a F&B and social hub. The whole complex is organized around a few zones - The Market, The Village, The Play Yard and The Top Yard.

For the first time visitor - you can be a bit overwhelmed by the choices available. Starting from the lowest level where The Market can be found - this is an upscale food hall featuring lots of dining options - including Mexican, BBQ, Italian, Chinese, etc., one can be really dazzled by the diversity of venues to choose from.

A large stepped plaza leads up to the 1st and 2nd floor - where there are more shops and F&B outlets. It is refreshing to see that lots of square footage are dedicated to green spaces and social areas.

Occupying pride of place at the Top Yard is Roast Cafe - a very successful coffee and food venture in Bangkok - whose owners are also behind The Commons development. This place is amazingly popular and most time you need to wait to get a table. Their specialty is all-day breakfast and of course coffee.
