Vienna 2016 - Dinner at the Vienna Town Hall
Vienna City Hall is a Neo-Gothic building that is still used as the city administrative centre. It is a huge building with a 98 meter high tower. You can actually join a tour of the building - but we were there for dinner at the Weiner Rathauskeller.
The interior of the restaurant is quite impressive - with wood paneled walls and beautifully painted ceilings. There were a large number of dining rooms - each with slightly different decor. We were taken to a huge room with vaulted ceiling where our dinner was served. It was truly a magnificent dining room.
The starter was tomato and cheese with a green salad. It was simple and nice.
Main course was pan seared fish with potatoes. The fish was delicate and nicely seasoned.
Dessert was a nice chocolate cake.
