Vienna 2016 - St Stephen's Street Market

It is quite common to find street markets around old cathedrals in Europe. I suppose the people who congregate at the cathedrals are a convenient target - and here there is the added advantage of plenty of tourists. The market around St Stephen's Cathedral is quite big and there was even a carousel to the delight of the kids.

Some of the stalls are actually full fledged shops - like this sausage stall that looks more like a well-stoked proper deli shop. Look at those sausages !

I couldn't resist giving the sausages a try - they are delicious.

Around the cathedral market are some other street stalls that are even more interesting. Love the vintage trucks and cart that have been beautifully restored and converted into mobile shops.
