Beijing 2009 - Ice Cream

One of the big surprises during our visit was discovering how good ice cream in Beijing can be. It was late Spring, so the weather gets a bit warm on some days. A nice cold stick of ice cream can really make your day !

This one's got a honeydew flavour. Inside is very rich and creamy.

This one has a peach flavour and is wrapped in a very cold translucent jacket which makes it look really cool !

An ice cream which is shaped like the popular candied fruit sticks found all over Beijing. This one has a samcha "haw" flavour. Really nice and refreshing, I had this after the tough climb up the Great Wall. See the background ?
