Prague 2016 - Kampa Island

According to travel site Virtual Tourist- Kampa Island is the 2nd most beautiful city island in the World - after St Ludwig Island in Paris. It is located just South of the Prague Castle, on the West bank of Vtlava River. It is separated from the adjacent town quarter by a narrow canal - the Certovka Canal (Devil's Stream).

The northern part of the island is filled with picturesque houses and small buildings. The southern half is a park with a large grass lawn. The Kampa Museum can be found here.
