Singapore 2018 - The Clan Cafe

What was previously the New Majestic Hotel has now become The Straits Clan - a private member's only club catering to "creatives, makers, doers, dreamers, entrepreneurs, activists, high achievers and iconoclasts" - whatever that means! This seems to be the new trend in Singapore - where the emergence of a sizable super-affluent demographic makes these exclusive outposts a viable concern. Luckily for the less privileged - they do open up their ground floor cafe to visitors. 

The Clan Cafe is a beautifully designed and furnished venue serving premium coffee, tea, and a selection of modern cafe fare. The decor looked like it came right out of the pages of Kinfolk and Monocle.
