Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province, and renown for the beautiful Westlake. Like most cities in China it has a modern skyline, however it seems to have preserved its heritage better then others.
Hangzhou is a surprisingly green city. The streets are lined with trees and landscaped sidewalks, and there are many parks dotted around the city.
In the few days we were Hangzhou, frankly we did not get to see much of the city except passing through. I look back now with a bit of regret, as the city seems to contain many hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
