Budapest 2016 - Vorosmarty Square
At the northern end of Vaci Utca is Vorosmarty Square - one of the busiest places in the city centre. Since 1926 the square was named after 19th Century Hungarian poet Mihaly Vorosmarty who was best known for his patriotic relics. A monument to him is situated in the centre of the square.

Surrounding the square are some very nice buildings. One of these - the Gerbeaud House is a famous pastry shop and cafe.
