Prague 2016 - Kampa Museum

The Kampa Museum is housed in an old watermill - the Sova Watermill. It is a handsome building with stepped pediments and beautiful details. The museum features contemporary works of Central European and Czech artists. Photography is not allowed in the museum so I can only show you the outside. There are some really nice modern works in the museum and it is well worth a visit.

The courtyard which is open to the public free-of-charge features some interesting contemporary sculptural works.

The most famous exhibit are the Crawling Babies at the side of the Museum - bronze sculptures with slot machine faces, by Czech Republic's most famous sculptor - David Cerny who is also responsible for the babies crawling up the Zizkov Television Tower.
