Malacca 2014 - Malacca at Night

Many visitors to Malacca only stay for a few hours to see the main tourist sights, but the best time to experience Malacca is actually at night. When the light falls away, Malacca changes character and gains a shroud of mystery. It is quite an experience to wander the narrow streets and laneways after dark.

At night the streets take on a different colour and character. 

 The Malacca River is also a great area to explore after dark.

Even the trishaws look better at night with their flashing lights.

The nightlife is quite busy in some of the old streets.
