The temple complex is quite big, covering an area of slightly over an acre. The main prayer hall is dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy – Kuan Yin. Opposite the prayer hall – across the road, is a traditional opera theatre. During special Taoist occasions, opera shows will be staged there to please the gods.
