Budapest 2016 - Parliament Building

The Hungarian Parliament Building is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary. It is a very impressive Gothic Revival building sitting on the bank of the Danube River. The symmetrical building is crowned by a large dome that is Renaissance Revival in style. The building was completed in 1904.

One of the interesting sights here is that the guards walk around in circle around the gigantic flag post at the front of the building.
