Cesky Krumlov 2016 - Cesky Krumlov Part I
Cesky Krumlov is a small medieval town in the South-West of Czech Republic almost reaching the Austrian border. It is around 180km from Praque and driving time takes around 2 1/2 hours. Embraced by a tight bend of the Vlatva River - it is often considered one of the most beautiful little towns in Europe.
Much of the planning of the town conforms to the meander of the river. The cobble-stone streets, narrow alleys, buildings which are largely unchanged since the 18th century and a general lack of modern distractions - produce quite a transporting experience for the visitor. For the romantic - you can always picture yourself as the prince or princess in the Krumlov Castle situated up on a high cliff - overlooking the charming little town.
