Antwerp 2013 - Chocolate

Belgium is reputed to produce some of the best chocolates in the World, and in Antwerp, you do find many chocolate shops vying for tourist dollars. Unless you are an expert, it is not easy to tell good chocolate from the average just by looking. Fortunately, our taste buds are normally the most reliable judge - so go for the shops which offer free samples. This being Belgium - even the average chocolate is way better than the commercial brands in the market.

The varieties of chocolate on offer are truly mind-boggling. Even if you were to try one each you would probably collapse from chocolate and sugar overload.

To control your calorie intake, it would be wise to limit your tasting to the more premium selections as you can't get many of these outside of Belgium.
