Pattaya 2011 - Pattaya View Point

One of the must-do things in Pattaya is to visit the View Point at the Southern end of Pattaya Beach. A short drive on a Songthaew will take you up to the hill top where there is a small temple. From there you take a walk to the View Point for a panoramic view of Pattaya Beach. You can also catch a glimpse of Jomtien Beach toward the South, but it is mostly obscured by the foliage.

At the View Point there is a memorial to Prince Apakorn - considered the father of the Thai Royal Navy. Quite a lot of people come here to pay their respects.
